Course of Study
The Master's programme in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology consists of a total of three semesters.
In the technical field, the Offenburg University of Applied Sciences initially supplements scientific basics and imparts in-depth scientific course contents in the fields of Systems and Information Technology as well as Energy and Automation Technology.
At the same time, the University of Education in Freiburg offers in-depth study contents in the fields of vocational education and didactics. A practical school phase of 4 weeks after the first semester is integrated into the programme.
An essential part of the last semester is the preparation of a Master's thesis. The topic of this thesis is to be chosen interdisciplinary from the technical-scientific area and the educational-scientific area and demonstrate the ability to independently apply and further develop scientific methods and findings from the subject area.
