Study Content

In the degree programme Applied Computer Science, the fields of core computer science are taught first.

Programming, software engineering, Internet technologies, computer networks, operating and database systems as well as theoretical basics form the basis for the development of IT applications together with technical computer science.

This requires further comprehensive knowledge in the areas of IT security, enterprise applications and distributed IT applications.

In the three specialisations Embedded Systems, Application Development and Communication and Distributed Systems, the acquired knowledge is deepened in a practical way.

Numerous university projects such as the Robocup, the "Schluckspecht" and the "Future Mobility Cup" offer the opportunity to contribute the acquired IT knowledge.
